Description Brad Opferman 2009-03-17 18:57:40 UTC
Version: Kopete 0.70.0 (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When opening multiple chat windows to fill the top bar, the tabs do not scale. If the window is rescaled in or out slightly, the tabs scale to share the bar area.

This should be auto scaled as another tab is opened rather than having to rescale the window.

I think this is rather a problem of the KTabWidget, so I change the product to kdelibs.

Imo (just a guess, haven't tested it!) addTab needs to be reimplemented similar to removeTab, so that d->resizeTabs() is called.
Comment 2 Simon ESNEAULT 2010-10-20 10:40:11 UTC
Still here in KDE 4.5.2

This is probably something very simple to solve (as Matthias said, just a call to resizeTabs() ) but for now, it's an annoying bug, as when you open several conversation, it becomes difficult to navigate through your tab.

Anyone as a hint ?

I notice the same behavior -- this seems like a duplicate of Bug 158628
