Version: (using KDE 4.2.1) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages With the Hebrew language in KDE, the System Settings titlebar and tray icon are in the wrong encoding. I will attach a screenshot in the first comment. According to this page [1] the gibberish is typical of UTF-8 text that is being displayed as ISO-8859-1 [1] http://gibberish.co.il/encoding.html

My guess is that the translation is badly encoded.
@ Pino: I do not think so. In Arabic the system settings sometimes have same problem but when I go to a module and return back the problem disappear.
Is this reproducible with a recent KDE version (4.10.5 or newer)?
