Description Dotan Cohen 2009-03-17 14:52:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

With the Hebrew language in KDE, the System Settings titlebar and tray icon are in the wrong encoding. I will attach a screenshot in the first comment.

According to this page [1] the gibberish is typical of UTF-8 text that is being displayed as ISO-8859-1

My guess is that the translation is badly encoded.

@ Pino: I do not think so. In Arabic the system settings sometimes have same problem but when I go to a module and return back the problem disappear.
Comment 4 Christoph Feck 2013-12-29 20:09:20 UTC
Is this reproducible with a recent KDE version (4.10.5 or newer)?
