Hi,

what did you do when Kopete crashed? Which version of KDE are you using?
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2009-05-07 02:54:46 UTC
Marking as NEEDSINFO
Comment 3 ajpsych 2009-05-12 20:46:45 UTC
Same issue/bug. I don't understand what you mean by "what did you do when Kopete crashed?"

Which version of KDE are you using? I am using 4.2.2
Comment 4 Dario Andres 2009-05-12 20:49:28 UTC
@ajpsych@yahoo.ca: if you are getting a Kopete crash, may you read http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and post a complete backtrace in a NEW REPORT ? Do not forget to add your KDE4 version and your Linux distribution.

"what did you do when Kopete crashed?"-> "what were you doing when kopete crashed"? Examples: talking with some contact (of which protocol?), browsing the contact list, changing the settings, or nothing (Kopete was idle)

Thanks!
Comment 5 ajpsych 2009-05-12 21:47:07 UTC
I did say I am using KDE4.2.2.

Kopete was idle at time of crash.
Comment 6 Dario Andres 2009-05-12 21:58:56 UTC
Ok, try to get a backtrace and then paste it in a new bug report. Thanks
