Description Sascha Manns 2009-03-16 20:05:52 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

I've added the remote Calendar from news.opensuse.org through http://news.opensuse.org/?ec3_ical. The Calendar is now visible. But all Items are locked. That's right.
But i wish to set an Alarm on the Items, who are for me. So it would be great, if i can set an Alarm on an local imported Item.

An alarm is a property that's associated with an event, if the calendar is read-only you can't have alarms.

Merge that calendar with your existing calendar then set alarms. Can you try if that works?

How can i merge this?
Comment 3 Sergio Martins 2009-03-16 20:43:05 UTC
- Open that opensuse calendar and close your existing one.
- File->Export
- Uncheck the opensuse calendar, check your calendar
- File->Import, choose the calendar you exported
- Merge

I'm closing as "invalid" as this could already be done (although a bit hidden).
