Hi!

Every now an than I need to dissallow switching back to text console. So I have don't zap enabled and VT switching disabled in the XORG config. In addition to that, it would be nice, if I as root could temporarily disable the user switching in KDE, especially in the screen saver. That should be possible either in the screensaver settings or in the kdm settings in systemcontrol. And it should be possible to reconfigure this without restarting kdm +X.

Regards
Joseph

Enabling/disabling user switching in a locked session is configurable using Kiosk or by manually adding to share/config/kdeglobals:

[KDE Action Restrictions][$i]
action/switch_user=false

KDM is unmaintained and not used in KDE Plasma 5.

SDDM is the login manager used in KDE Plasma 5. If you still have this same issue with SDDM, please file an issue on the SDDM bugtracker (after doing a search for existing issues first!): https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/
