Description Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2009-03-13 20:23:56 UTC
Version: 1.11.1 (using 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.29-rc6-sidux-686

Doing top:

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
17559 salvo 20 0 40432 7684 4904 R 97 0.4 63:36.74 kio_imap4

It does like that when i close kmail and one of the imap server is not available (normal situation since my other pc is configured as imap server and i don't keep it up all the time).

I'm seeing this exact same issue on kmail 4.3.1. Very annoying since I use kerberos for imap auth and this happens every time my credentials expire or anything else goes wrong with connecting to any imap server.

Have experienced that too

This is probably a duplicate of 203715 (fixed in 4.3.5 and 4.4). I'll reopen this if you can still reproduce it (with aforementioned versions).
