Version: (using KDE 4.2.1) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages It would be good to be able to add basic image editing to ksnapshot and also be able to add arrows and notes to the grabbed picture. I think this is a good idea! ... A first step could (alternativly) be to have an easy way to open the sceenshot in a selctable application - or upload it to a web service (see also https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=175128 )

There's already the option to send the image to external apps, and since ksnapshot will never be a real image editor this functionality won't be added. A companion app that offers some editing/screenie type effects would be a nice future addition however.
