Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Fedora RPMs When the KMail icon in the system tray is clicked, KMail is restored to the Desktop from which it was launched - not the current Desktop. This is very annoying!
This is the intended behaviour of kde desktop. Just open on the last virtual desktop where the application was used last time. In any case, you can get your desired behabiour using the Special application settings (in the menu of the upper left corner of the window), marking in the Desktop tab, the option Desktop, All Desktops.
