Description Unknown 2009-03-12 17:27:56 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 93", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.7-9-pae

Upon wanting to select Konqueror or any other possibility as filemanager, when clicking apply the system responds with:
Configuration file "/home/Goettschwan/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list" not writable.
Please contact your system administrator.

I have looked into the folder as it may be a permission issue, but the file does not exist in that folder.
A search on the whole of /home for "mimeapps.list" did not find the file.
The options at least for terminal emulator and web browser function correctly, as in they save and do their thing.

I also cannot change the preferred programs for example for textfiles in the advanced section of the desktop preferences, same error.

In a fresh Opensuse11.3/KDE 4.5 installation this problem is not anymore present.
