Description Marek Lazanowicz 2009-03-12 11:17:27 UTC
Version: 1.6.6 (using 3.5.7, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22.9-server-1mdv

This error occurs after connection with remote computer ( SGI HPC , OS IRIX).
After connection I try to use SGI's GUI: toolchest. Toolchest it is the widget in form of menu and it appears on the display. But when I want to choose from this menu entry: Open Unix Shell, instead of monitor window, I get message:
Can't open font FixedWidthFont; using default
Assertion failed: foo, file tuColorMap.c++, line 61

If you can pinpoint something that Konsole is doing wrong compared with another terminal then I might be able to help you - otherwise I'm afraid there is not a lot I can do for you since I don't have access to the mentioned tools.

The 'assertion failed' message relates to a file which isn't part of Konsole or even KDE.
