Description Daniel O'Connor 2009-03-10 01:28:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It would be really nice if there was an option to control the behaviour of New Tab/Window - ie I am very much used to New Tab opening a local tab rather than a copy of the one I already have.

There's an option in the profile's preferences to control whether open new tabs at the location of the current tab. Would be that one?

I mean that when you have a given profile open then opening a new one duplicates it.

Now that I say it like that it sounds like a feature :)

The problem for me is that I used to start konsoles from the desktop but in KDE4 the desktop plasma is way too slow to use on my old PC. I guess I'll stick with the konsole plasma widget and deal with the (effective) change.

That said when I tried 4.2 the konsole widget wasn't present which is rather annoying (but could have been a broken build)
