Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages When trying to put a small digital clock on the desktop, the plasmoid does not have an option to remove the border, with the result that an inordinate amount of space is occupied by the border. Indeed, for very small clocks, the border occupies more space than the useful information. Consequently, it would be useful to add an option (like the Picture Frame plasmoid) to remove the border from the digital clock plasmoid.
We have discussed this option on the plasma developers list and decided this option will not be added to the standard clock widget. Instead we will seek to resolve the issues with the auto-sizing code.
