OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-11-generic

Images smaller than the screen resolution aren't zoomed in to fit the screen.
I use gwenview on Ubuntu 8.10 (gnome) with a 16:9 screen.

You can change this behavior: open the config dialog, go to "Image View" and check the "Enlarge smaller images" check box.
