Compiler:          gcc 4.3.2 
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

KDE Help says that to eject a cd/dvd user should:
1. In Dolphin or 'My Computer'
2. in 'My Computer' right click in the 'Places' panel (or below 'Disk Information') and select Safely Remove or Eject to eject a cd or dvd disk from the cd/dvd hardware.  
3. in 'My Computer' there is no Places panel.
4. in 'My Computer' clicking (right or left) on the icon for the cd/dvd icon pops-up a menu that does not offer any option that ejects the disk.
5. In Dolphin such an option is available and operative.

The "My Computer" option is OpenSUSE specific and it's not a current oficial KDE add-on. Please, report this bug at : http://en.opensuse.org/Submit_a_Bug
