Description Florian E.J. Fruth 2009-03-06 16:14:14 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

I'm using Akregator Version 1.4.1 on KDE 4.2.1 on Debian SID with Experimental KDE packages. When I try to reconfigure the shortcuts in akregator I can't use all keys. E.g. if I try to set "Return" to "Open in External Browser" (instead of Ctrl+Alt+Return) it just doesn't register when I hit the return or space-key.

As of KDE4.3.0-1 (Debian/SID) this seams to work fine. But there's still the problem that it doesn't remember the custom-shortcuts after a restart of akregator - but as I have this "shortcuts aren't correctly loaded" issue with different applications it may be non-akregator specific.
Comment 2 Florian E.J. Fruth 2010-01-11 23:06:53 UTC
changing the kpartgui version fixed the problem - but with akregator it has to be set to:
akregator_part.rc = Version "415"
akregator_shell.rc = "392"
