Description Torsten Bielen 2009-03-06 09:31:55 UTC
Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Creating a mailing list within kontact works fine. I can create a mailing list attach contacts and all works as expected. I also can use it as a mail receiver.

But when I exit kontact I got the following message:
"The address book Akonadi Compatibility Resource cannot be stored" (tranlated from german). The resource is managed by akonadi and was migrated automatically during the switch between 4.1 and 4.2.

The next time kontact starts the mailing list is not further available.

The error is reproducable with all 4.2.x versions.

The same goes for new addressbooks.
But there is another problem, too. I can create new addressbooks, but their contents seem to get mixed up terribly.

And:
I can store (and use later after a relaunch) distribution lists with the mail-editor, but they will not appear in the distribution list editor.

my resources are managed by akonadi (all old resouces are not checked)

i can try to create a maling list from the adresses I put in a new mail with the "save the list" button which proceed with no error message.
Then I am unable to see the mailing list anywhere, be it using the SELECT button in new mail or going in adressbook to list them.

my old mailing list created before akonadi are still available, visible and usable.

I add that I can create a maiing list directly on the adress book with the mailing list editor.

So creating a mailing list from the list of recipient in an email (creating ou reading it) is the only thing that do not work.

With version 4.8 I can store mailing list. I got another error but this one has been solved.
