Description Marcelo Sales 2009-03-06 01:54:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When a Battery Monitor plasmoid is placed in a vertical plasma panel, it grows until it is as wide as the panel, resulting in a huge battery plasmoid which takes up too much space in the panel.
It would be nice if there was an option to make the battery monitor appear just as an icon in systray.
It seems that several plasmoids have problems when used in vertical panels and even in horizontal panels when their high is above average.
Maybe it should be possible to resize plasmoids in panels to the user's liking and to place them in columns in vertical panels or in rows in horizontal panels.
Or maybe there should be a plasmoid that could be used as a container for other plasmoids.
