Description doc.evans 2009-03-05 23:41:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I've looked everywhere I can think of, and can find no way to disable the display of seconds for the times associated with events in the month view of the calendar (which started happening with KDE 4.2).

There should be a way to disable this (or it should simply be removed) for at least two reasons:

1. It occupies precious space that could be better used by displaying more of the event description.
2. It is fundamentally rather silly to list times to the second in a view of an entire month.

There are other reasons too, but I hope that that's enough to be convincing.

This was already fixed. Update to KDE-4.2.1.
