Description gabriele monfardini 2009-03-05 23:12:04 UTC
Version: 2.0.1 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-13-generic

My collection is on a volume that is not mounted automatically.

When I open amarok and the volume is not mounted, the collection is empty, as I expect.
After mounting the volume I've tried to update the collection using the "update collection" menu item (the last one in "Tools", I'm not sure of the exact string since I use a localized version)

The collection is not rebuild, but I would expect it was.

In amarok configuration the correct directories are marked for the collection and the collection is rebuilt correctly if I press "Scan again the collection" (or similar) in "Collection" panel.

The items "Recursively check the directories" and "Check directories changes" are both checked.

This behavior is always the same, so this bug is easily reproducible
