Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs You can use mouse to select any text you want. But it is not very effective -- thus this wish. In text mode Konsole could behave like Kate (almost) -- arrows keys to move the caret, easier selection with shift+nav.keys. I am thinking even of ability to alter text (just as history of konsole) -- this could serve as simple way to making annotations.
Are there any other terminals that do this? I don't think this is something Konsole should do. Reopen if you have some patches and/or further interest in this.
