bug reported by a mandriva user, i can reproduce, He told this appeared from qt 4.4.3 => qt 4.5 migration but i am not that sure. does someone with KDE 4.2 and Qt 4.4 can reproduce ?
Same here, I've just upgraded from KDE 4.2 / QT 4.4.3 to KDE 4.2.1 / QT 4.5 (Opensuse 11.1). In the first setting the icon sorting problem did not occur, whereas I have this bug in the latter.
SVN commit 937557 by fredrik: Adapt to a change in behavior in Qt 4.5 that resulted in the saved icon positions being cleared before the initial layout. BUG: 186203 M +9 -4 iconview.cpp WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=937557
