Description missive 2009-03-04 22:55:16 UTC
Version:           4.2.65 (KDE 4.2.65 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090226)) (using 4.2.65 (KDE 4.2.65 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090226)), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-7-generic

It looks like konq tries to automatically select the misspelled (red underlined) word when it is right-clicked to access the spelling options.

That makes it easy to choose a suggestion and quickly replace the misspelled word with the proper word.

However, the automatic selection is offset by a number of spaces depending on the length of the misspelled word.

For instance, find a textarea somewhere and type in the words "this is a textarea" then right-click on the word textarea. The letters "s is a t" will be selected automatically.
