Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Use case: I'm using Kopete at work and at home. I cannot use one computer in both places. Often I need to search through chat history only to find out that the information I'm looking for is on the other's computer history.
You can use program KLT: http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Kopete+Log+Sync+Toolkit?content=86804 It support syncing history between two Kopete log directories. I'm using it throw SSH to sync full chat history.
Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
