Description Unknown 2009-03-01 17:02:39 UTC
Version: 1.2 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 93", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.7-9-pae

When I use Dolphin and the cut/paste function to move files to another partition of my system, everything on the screen freezes for about 20 seconds. The mouse pointer is still moving, but I cannot use any buttons like kickoff or logout. Any selections done to program windows (e.g. switching over to a firefox window) will be executed after the freeze.
Any questions from the system (write into folder etc.) come after the freeze.
After some testing, this only happens when cut/pasting several folders (in my test, containing mp3 files).
Cutting/pasting small amounts of data like jpegs does not trigger this behaviour.
