Description pipapo 2009-03-01 16:48:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

A few days ago I recognized a strange behavior in yakuake. Some keystrokes like Strg+C didn't work anymore. Also the logout didn't work anymore. I found a lot of zombiefied processes like nepomukserver with ksmserver as father. I created a new account for testing which shows the same problem after logout. The problem could only resolved by starting kde with an empty session and start yakuake with autostart.
Before I run in these problems I had some total system freeze playing around with a vpn-connection. Maybe because of this there are some unclean configs lying around?

Here's the list of processes after the first kde-logout with a brand new test-account:

Reassigning to KSMServer.

I assume this is still valid for KDE 4.9.x? Please set the version field.
