Description Michael Donaghy 2009-02-27 14:27:02 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.3
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

When using the keyboard to select multiple messages from my inbox (shift + left/right arrow keys), kmail doesn't seem to handle moving "back" over oneself correctly. If I hold shift and press right twice, this will select the next two messages (for three total selected) as expected, but if I now press left, it will not deselect the last to leave two messages selected (as was the behaviour in kde 3.5, and seems the most "sensible" option); rather, all three remain selected; more confusingly, the message pane still displays the third message, rather than the second, even though this is now clearly the "most selected" message in the inbox pane.

This works ok for me Using KDE 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 102" (opensuse) with dimap, imap and local folders.
