An web link dragged from, for instance, a Konqueror window and dropped over the konsole window should cause the URL to be inserted in the konsole. However if it is dropped over a blank area of the konsole, it is not "caught" but falls through to the next window underneath the konsole window.

I cannot reproduce here, the URL is inserted as expected.

I can't reproduce either.   If you can, please give more info: what app, what link, screenshot, etc.
