Description Mark Summerfield 2009-02-24 08:35:23 UTC
Version: 1.11.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), 4.2.0-10.fc10 Fedora)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.15-170.2.24.fc10.i686

(1) The message list does not remember the widths of the columns which is very annoying since they are never the widths I want.

(2) The new search bar & icons cannot be hidden thus losing vertical space that I'd rather have for messages.

(3) I can't switch off the tree lines in the message list even though I don't use the tree feature.

(4) When I launch gvim with "gvim -f" on GNOME whenever I close gvim KMail almost immediately opens it again; the only solution I've found is to close the editor, do Alt+U to get the focus into the subject line edit, then close the editor again (because as soon as you touch the keyboard KMail launches the editor) and then send the message.

Please, only one bug in one bug report.

1) duplicate of bug 178154
2) This is a wish (I see more wasted space with the tabs, see bug 179943).
I guess you'll miss the configurations and quick search soon or later.
3) duplicate of bug 181794
4) This is the bug!!!

One other bug: the new prettier and more intrusive tooltips that appear in the folder view don't seem to be able to be turned off.

As for tabs I've switched 'em off so no wasted space there.
