Description Ignat Semenov 2009-02-23 23:35:58 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

As of now, the popup menu ( the one with next, previous butttons etc. ) in fullscreen mode uses its own style. It would be really nice ( and create more consistency throughout the desktop ) if this popup used plasma frames (or looked like them), similar to what we now have in KWin.

Interesting idea. Which parts of kwin use plasma frames? I always thought all plasma rendering was done by plasma itself.

Recently such effects as the Cover Switch and Desktop Cube have been ported to show text inside plasma frames. A screenshot of such a frame in Cover Switch is attached. Actually, in Gwenviev, there is at least one more widget that would look nice if done with the help of Plasma: the Crop widget.
