Version:            (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Steps to reproduce:
- Execute 'kcmshell4 kgamma', or choose from systemsettings
- Adjust gamma correction
- Check on 'Save settings system wide'
=> A Fatal Error Occurred, SIGSEGV

Running with kdesu produces the same crash.
