Version: 1.11.0 (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I prefer replying/forwarding above the previous message (quoted text). Selecting "Insert signature above quoted text" doesn't put the cursor on the top, but always below the quoted text. Even changing the templates doesn't have any effect, as the cursor always shows up below the quoted text. This is very difficult especially when replying to a longer mail, where we have to manually go to the top of the composing window. e.g the following doesn't affect the cursor position in the reply window %REM="Default reply template"%- %CURSOR On %ODATE %OTIMELONG you wrote: %QUOTE Thanks a lot...
Just happened to see today that there are template settings on the identity level which took precedence over the template settings on the composer page. After changing the templates in the identity page, it is working now. But still the cursor position comes below the inserted signature !! Is there any option where we can specify to put the cursor above the inserted signature ? Thanks a lot...
