Description Jaak Simm 2009-02-21 16:03:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When doing DVI inverse search in Okular (by holding shift and clicking with left mouse button) clicking often does not have any effect. Probably it means that it missed.

The preferred behavior would be that DVI inverse search almost always goes to a line in the source text. Probably it's because of the DVI document, but it should be possible to look up the closest element and do the inverse search according to it. At least KDVI managed to do inverse search for almost any clicked location.

PS I used kile for the inverse search, but probably similar behavior is present with other editors.
