Description Gerhard 2009-02-21 00:00:42 UTC
Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

If I change the user/group of a folder and check the box "Apply changes to all
subfolders and their contents" in the properties | permissions dialogue, the user/group is only displayed correctly for the top folder. All
subfolders and files keep their old user/group.

However, the user/group is correctly changed on the hard disk, it's just a display issue.

The "Reload" function doesn't help, it remains wrong. Dolphin must be closed and restarted to get it right.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.navigate to a folder in the "details" view of Dolphin showing user/group info
2.right click on the folder and open the properties | permissions dialogue
3.change the group and check "Apply changes to all subfolders and their
contents"
4. expand the folder by clicking on the small "+"

Actual Results:
all files in this folder still show the old group, only the top folder on which
the change was applied directly is OK

Expected Results:
correct group must be displayed
