Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs With folderview set to show previews of file contents for text files, folderview shows a preview of the contents of .desktop files. The expected behavior is for folderview to not show a preview for .desktop config files (even if they don't have .desktop in the filename, as an nfs mount desktop config file wouldn't) when the option for text file previews is enabled. Open Document files and KMyMoney files (.kmy) also should not be considered as text files for preview purposes, as they are zip files. This would be like in KDE 3.5.x, and also makes sense. I may be interested in the contents of your average text file, but I am almost never interested in the contents of a desktop config file. As it is right now, this makes the preview text files option unusable for me. Thanks for your continued improvements of folderview! --Mark
