Version: 0.70.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Gentoo) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-gentoo-r8 When I try to add a contact, it shows one sub-menu with my email address on it. (I'm using my gmail address through the jabber id). I find this very confusing, but OK, I suppose I'm adding a contact to me.... The next dialog asks for the jabber ID. I'm trying to add a contact who is not using jabber. Now what? Ok so I'll just barge ahead and add the hotmail email address for my contact that I want to add. Then I tab and it goes to the group selection, and then disappears. I can't edit the name that I want to appear for this contact. However the other two buttons allow me to change it or select the one from my address book. When I click OK, the contact doesn't appear in the list.
Just to clarify tabbing past the group selection causes the cursor to disappear. The textedit box seems to be in read only mode.
you can't add hotmail addresses to a jabber account w/o using a jabber transport of some sort. this is not a bug.
