Description m.wege 2009-02-18 22:12:51 UTC
Version: 1.2 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-7-generic

The icon size in the folder view can not be configured. They appear far to big for me, because all other icons on my system are set on small. I also wish that the icon size in the places tab would in some way relate to the general icon sizes settings in KDE systemsettings (which since KDE4 is a bit brocken, Dolphin is not the only app not relating to the central settings).
Comment 1 Peter Penz 2009-02-19 15:52:57 UTC
Do you mean with "Folder View" the "Folder Panel" dock? The icons in the "places tab" are outside scope of Dolphin - if this should be fixed, I'd kindly ask to submit a second bug report for this (I'll assign it to the correct component then). Thanks!
Comment 2 m.wege 2009-02-19 20:28:22 UTC
Yes that is correct, but you why a new bug report? You can just reassign this one.
Comment 3 Peter Penz 2009-02-19 22:46:32 UTC
You made 2 requests:
1. Configurable icon size for the Folders Panel (implemented in Dolphin)
2. Configurable icon size for the Places Panel (implemented in kdelibs)

... or did you mean always the Places Panel with "folders view" and "places tab"?
Comment 4 m.wege 2009-02-19 22:55:03 UTC
I am confused. I meant the panel in dolphin, which is on the right side. It has in the German translation "Orte" written over it. Which one is the "Folders Panel"?
Comment 5 Peter Penz 2009-02-19 23:47:39 UTC
Ah, I see :-) The "Folders Panel" is "Ordner" in German (just press F8 to enable it). OK, I'm reassigning this wish to kdelibs...
