Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) Compiler: gcc 4.3.3-1 OS: Linux Installed from: Unspecified Linux In Dolphin, it is very easy to "Select All' or "Invert Selection". Please include an easy way to "Deselect All" either by: 1) Including this option in the Edit Menu or 2) By Left-Clicking once in an open area within Dolphin
Thanks for the report, but "deselect all" is already possible by clicking in an open area in Dolphin. If this does not work for you: - Which view mode do you use? - Could you please post a screenshot where you've selected all files?
Now I see what you mean. I just clicked on the section adjacent to the file name(s), just to the right, and that seems to work (deselect everything). I was originally referring to the open 'grey' area in Dolphin. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to click anywhere on the 'grey' open space area in Dolphin, and also have a 'deselect all' option in the Edit menu? Thanks.
Peter, it is possible to "deselect all" now of course, but it would simply more elegant having "deselect all" in the menu next to "select all". The reason is of course not only nice looking menu, but ability to assign a shortcut to it. If you don't have an action, no chance for working shortcut.
