Version:           1.11.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-8-eeepc

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have a small resolution like 1024x600 or resize message view window
2. Open a message with attachments 

Result: 
The attachment area almost takes half of the screen in vertical size and makes it difficult to read a message on netbooks with low resolution.

Expected result:
Adapt size of attachment list to window height.

I suppose you know that you can srink the attachment area to meet your needs?. Also that you can make this information to not be shown at all?.

Jaime, I know, but the geometry is not saved. When I open a new message window next time the problem occurs again. Not showing it at all may be a workaround, but it is certainly not the best solution.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
