Description Mike Frysinger 2009-02-16 02:10:34 UTC
Version: 1.11.0 (using KDE 4.2.0)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.3 x86_64
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

if you select a message in the message list and then use the page up/page down keys, the message scrolls as one would expect. but if instead the home/end keys are pressed, the key presses affect the message list by selecting the first/last message in the list. this is unexpected and awkward at best. the set of four keys should go to the same place: the message window.

What I see here as a bug is that those keys can not be configured in the hotkeys configuration window.

If the keys <- and -> are for moving to the previous or next mail, why Home and End are associated to Up and Down instead of <- and -> ?
Comment 2 Mike Frysinger 2009-02-16 19:17:29 UTC
yes, if the user could control the behavior of each key, that would be ideal
