Description Mikolaj Machowski 2009-02-15 14:32:35 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

In expandable panels (Konqueror, digiKam) directly after expansion labels+icons are nicely enclosed with blue border. But after losing focus this border vanishes making very hard to recognize which panel is currently expanded. There should be some more differentiation for opened tab: darker background of label, make those border not vanishing, even reverse colors?

Sorry I don't get what you are saying.

Is this even Oxygen and not Plasma?
Comment 2 Mikolaj Machowski 2009-02-15 19:03:17 UTC
Oxygen is responsible for styling of application widgets - so Oxygen.

situation in digiKam

As you can see all tabs in digiKam are looking almost identical but only one of them is opened.

It's not a styled component, but rather a button turned upside down.

Nothing we can do about it
Comment 5 Mikolaj Machowski 2009-02-16 17:17:13 UTC
In details it KMultiTabBar with KDEV3ICON option (Konqueror uses VSNET option). Are you sure it is not Oxygen field? TIA
Comment 6 Camilla Boemann 2009-02-16 17:25:29 UTC
No. KMultiTabBar is not directly under style control
