Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs Sometimes kontact crashes when selecting a mail folder inside kmail. Normally i start kontact by klicking on its icon in the taskbar. Currently it seems to happen with every folder. This is a Qt bug (alredy fixed in qt-copy, Qt4.4.4 and 4.5) Is your Qt package up-to-date ? (I think OpenSUSE includes the qt-copy patches in its Qt package Look at bug 175989 and bug 174065
