Version: (using KDE 4.1.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Kmail crashes when running filters on the mail box. My mail box is hosted remotely (i.e. on my mail server) and I'm using IMAP to access it. It has about 1500 mails in it and I'm trying to filter about 200 mails a day into about 5 or so folders. If I try and filter everything kmail will crash. If I select about 20-30 mails kmail won't always crash, but after a few rounds of selecting 20 emails and hitting ctrl-J it will crash. I would hope that I could apply the filter on all 1500 emails with out it crashing. However I'd settle for being able to select a few hundered at a time and being able to filter them. I'm using ubuntu 8.10 and kmail is installed from the ubuntu packages. I'm not using any plugins.
