just opened a ODF/ODP file that was saved with OOo 3 Impress and the Master Slide Layout is merged into all slides.

i have to click each slide to disable it (using the Format>>Master Slide menu)

btw, CTRL-A does not select all slides ! (and the select action in the menu does not, too)

Hello,

can you please attach the presentation you seeing the problem in so that I can see where the problem lies. If I understood you correctly is that the layout form the master shape is shown on all pages even if it is not the case in OO. There is a bug in OOo that causes that, but to be sure that is the problem you are seeing we need to see the presentation.

If you don't want to attach it to the bug report you can also send it to me in a private mail.
