I wish there would be an option of opening a mailbox folder in a new tab by right clicking the folder an selecting that option from the context menu of that folder. Currently, you open the new tab first and then navigate to the new folder to display it on the new tab. Just a suggestion.
I would like to second this! With the current architecture of KMail it shouldn't be too hard to implement ( I will help if necessary ) and could give KMail a good advantage over Thunderbird in the near future. I know that Thunderbird 3.0 beta 2 has this feature and it works very nicely! Also this feature will really help the interface on UMPCs with small screens. Like I said, let me know if you would like help.
