Version:           1.11.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-7-generic

I could find an option to configure the font size of the folder view, where message get sorted by day/date. I attach a screenshort, to show what I exactly mean. What is anoying about that is the default is really very big.

I'm not sure if this is a consequence of bug 178402
or really the option is not present.

The option is not present. Or at least I can not find one.

At least the default size is not so big anymore. So would not see this as high priority.

you can select the font (in KDE 4.3) by selecting Theme / Configure 
In Appearance Tab right(!) click on the displayed "Message Group"  and change the font, etc.
