while i generally like dark backgrounds (linux colors in konsole all the time :), the black frame in the konq about: page simply does not cut it:
- the contrast to the rest is too high
- as can be seen by the appearance of all "terminal" and "vga" fonts, fonts meant for dark backgrounds are generally somewhat bold. otherwise they strain the eyes more than necessary
- many of the icons are hardly recognizable; they were rather obviously designed with light backgrounds in mind. i suppose that's a kde-wide problem. but if nothing else, with default settings (background light) the icons appear different in that page than in the actual ui.
