Description P A S 2009-02-09 21:41:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Every time I had kontact running at the last session I get at my start following error:
After login I get two dialogs:
(1) one with Warning kontact is running on an other screen... and
(2) the wallet asking for my password

If I press quit on (1) and enter my password in (2) nothing happens and I have to start kontact again.

If I press enter my password in (2) and press start on (1) I get two applications. When I quit one, both crash.

Comment 2 George Zazias 2009-02-23 02:05:15 UTC
I can confirm this bug on Archlinux with KDE 4.2 and official packages from arch's repos
Comment 3 Aldoo 2009-04-06 19:42:42 UTC
I saw this in both Suse and Mandriva. It doesn't look like a packaging issue...
Comment 4 Wolfgang 2009-05-07 23:49:19 UTC
I can confirm this bug on Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE 4.2.2.
Comment 5 Peter Dewitt 2009-05-19 22:56:29 UTC
I can confirm this bug on OpenSuse 11.1 and my Gentoo box using KDE 4.2.3. I have not confirmed this but I'm sure it only occurred once I had setup my email accounts and added some contacts.
Comment 6 bve 2009-07-21 09:00:01 UTC
Same here on kubuntu 9.04.
Comment 7 Thomas Pfeiffer 2010-09-18 10:41:43 UTC
This bug had disappeared in some 4.4.x version for me (not sure which one it was, though), but reappeared with 4.5.0 and still persists in 4.5.1. I'm using Archlinux with the vanilla KDE packages (not kdemod).
Comment 8 km 2010-10-13 11:37:21 UTC
Same here on openSuse 11.2, Kontact 4.4.6
