Version: 2.0 beta-5 (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages There seems to be a different interpretation of the .ods file format between OOo and KSpread. Here's the case: Create a new empty spreadsheet document using OOo Calc Type some dummy text in some cells Set these cells to align their content to the top. Save and open the ods with KSpread KSpread now shows the content of these cells vertically aligned. This bug is also present the other way around.
it's not really clear to me from your description what is wrong with how kspread treats align-to-top; could you perhaps include screenshots showing what you think is wrong? I don't really see a difference in how oo and kspread treat align-to-top.
Either a screenshot or it would indeed also be very helpful for us if you could attach a document you created with OOo and please tell us the version of OOo you made it with. Thanks.

In fact, I regret to announce it, but I misunderstood the bug. It has actually nothing to do with OOo after all. It's much simpler I guess. So here's what I've done: *Create a new spreadsheat document *Edited some cell preferences to date or time *set the content to align to top and selected word wrap *save the document when I re-open it the text is all vertically aligned. I attached the file I was editing
