Description Terranarion 2009-02-09 15:11:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

After updating from KDE 4.1.3. to 4.2.0 Symbols/Icons (OpenSUSE 11.0, 64-bit) in the Control-Panel and the Desktop are deleted (only Symbols showing 101010; non functional).

Deletion of the symbols and replacing with new shortcuts, only functionates until restart or Log-Off.After that, Desktop looks like before.

Deleting the KDE4 folder (in the home directory), leads to a refinement, because now the new Desktop Icons/Symbols are remaining on the Desktop - but the useless empty Symbols (with 1010101) also still appear after Log-Off or Restart.
Also the deletion and replacement of Symbols in the Control-Panel doesn't work!

In OpenSUSE it is also not possible to get a functionel Shortcut to "MyComputer" (sysinfo/:).
