Description Tony White 2009-02-08 13:42:08 UTC
Version: 2.12 (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

Ark
Version 2.12
Using KDE 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0)

I used ark to extract a .tar.bz2 archive from kernel.org, Rebooted and there was a blank ark window containing no interface, Icons Etc That appeared on it's own when I logged in after the reboot.
I didn't try to start ark the window just appeared.
I clicked the window close x in the top right of the window and got a crash report as follows :

Application: Ark (ark), signal SIGSEGV
[Current thread is 1 (Thread 0xb609c6d0 (LWP 3658))]

Thread 1 (Thread 0xb609c6d0 (LWP 3658)):
[KCrash Handler]
#6 0x0805303b in _start ()

Hope it's not too serious and you can fix it, It was a one off occurrence.
I haven't seen it again yet.
